Both of my dogs had come down with something like this a couple months ago. They were sleeping a lot more, vomiting, ears and tails down. Vet said it was a bug of some kind. Gave them medicine to help with the GI symptoms. I gave them extra blankets to burrow into. They do love blankets. They’re ok now.

I grew up in Florida, so of course that’s the South Bay that came to my mind.

The only clue I saw to which of the world’s many bays this could be was the line “Bay Area Residents in Hawaii Recall Chaos After False Alarm.” But I couldn’t find that one on a map.

Technically highway 92 in San Mateo and Hayward has always been the line. Old Silicon Valley maps from before the dot-com era explicitly show that as the limit.
