The truck drivers on the “Ice Road Truckers” show always get hyper driving across ice roads. You never know.

Saw one episode where they said that “waves” can occur beneath the ice based upon the type of usage happening on top.
From what I recall, the ice may appear durable and sound...yet structurally cannot bear as much weight as one would think.
Pretty interesting stuff, for sure.
