I know I’m probably going to get flamed for this, but I agree somewhat that ANY animal should be prohibited from entering establishments where food is sold and/or eaten.

I understand the need of the animal’s owner, but there are also concerns with both sanitiation in regards to food, as well as potential allergy issues with the other patrons and customers.

While service animals should continue to be used in other locations, I would think it would be best for everyone if coping techniques were practiced in these locations if possible.

Again, this is my opinion, and no, I’m not a professional.

You’re not going to be flamed by me. I’m not all that old and it used to be standard that animals weren’t brought into these establishments. It’s a cleanliness issue and no, the fact that a particular persons bathes Fido every day doesn’t make any difference to me. Your dog is not your child.... leave it home

I agree with you. I LOVE animals, and love my pets. But the truth is that critters have nasty stuff going on, and they should not be near food. It’s common sense, IMHO.

When we lived in Simi Valley, several movie people lived in that area. When we’d go for coffee or something, the affected a-holes would be sitting around in their Hollywood hats, blatantly reading their “treatments” for attention. Their critters would be there with them going from table to table spreading their... whatever. We quit going.
