Just a month ago, as friends and families prepared to gather for the holiday season, the men and women at the U.S. Census Bureau were busy releasing their latest annual estimates of population changes across the United States.
With the hustle and bustle of the season, many Americans missed the important new data. The new census estimates detail how states have grown since the last full census in 2010. The estimates provide some fascinating insight on what we can expect from the quickly approaching 2020 Census.
For those of us wonky enough to follow the annual trends in state-by-state migration, the numbers were an early Christmas gift.

Lot of defeatism in this thread.
Call it what you want, but when you have Liberal Northener’s moving in droves to sunny, Florida, bringing their liberal BS with them. And thousands and thousands of Puerto Rican’s planting themselves in Section 8, in Florida, you can stick a fork in Florida, it’s done.
Been hearing this was going to happen for 30 years for one reason or another.
Been living in Florida for a while now. Not concerned a bit.
I argue that the big flip on the color assciated with the parties was in the 2000 election, and it was intentional. It drives me nuts, too. Red is the color of Communism, and the American Right were always the true-blue Patriots.
Hope you’re right, but history is showing that the elections there are getting increasingly, tighter.
Yes, Im sure it was done on purpose, but I could not remember when it was done. Thanks for the information.
Well they are moving as they retire but I don’t know what “bill” your talking about.
The “Law” is settled business.
You seemed to be attacking the GOP over some “bill”. I’m just trying to understand which one.
My friend from Seattle just moved to SC into a 5,000 Sq ft house for 600. He is as conservative as they come.
Why are you denying this.
They are not all retires . I wish but not the case .I guess more people can work from home .
The new tax laws are hitting in 2018 .
They are flooding in now.
The only hope is that real estate tumbles in the NE but the economy is doing well .
I suspect this is the first wave of Dems flooding in .
He DID say liberals...
I'm being redundant.
This wasnt Trump . The was a lobbyist bill given to Ryan and Mitchy .
Just explain it. If your bitching about the new tax code, just say so. Don't lie. BTW I go from 28 to 22 and double my deduction. If the libs don't like it, they can file a grievance at their local watering hole.
Who do you think is behind ramming thru the Daca / Amnesty bill crap right now .
The cheap labor express K street lobby also linked to to the Chamber of crony capitalism lobby .
That is another matter but the new tax law was all about large corporate businesses with a minor tax break for us to sell it to the public .
The flip side many people are getting tax hits which is driving up the exodus here .
As long as they don’t bring their Socialist voting with them!!
I would be concerned now .
FL stupidly build all these new university all over the state that help flip formerly conservative town to Dem hell holes .
In Tampa they put USF which is now Muslim U .
In Orlando they put UCF a left wing nut joint .
I suspect the new university in Fort Myers will flip that town .
Now add this new tax law that will drive more of the pals of these
college town lefties here . Think more left wing professors and teachers .
My recollection is this - the color code started when Reagan was elected. The fledgling USA Today (a Gannett liberal rag company) put out the color code. Their newspaper went into graphics, numbers, charts, very short articles, etc. From its birth, I always thought it was intentional to not assign red to the Dems for the very reason you gave; they knew its color (”Better Red Than Dead”) would actually be descriptive of who they really are. In conversation I do not use elementary school color descriptions to describe the political leftist Dem and Republican represented states. If colors had to be used, the Dems are the red states, and the Reps are the red-white-&-blue states.
Do I really have to go to your posts. You ramble on and get way off topic. Hell, it’s one issue at a time.
Here in all your glory is what got me started. You seem to be bitching about the tax code, but no, you claim some bill.

“I warned about the months ago .
The gop just cut its own throats.
Liberal Yankees and there stupid off spring are pouring into FL like Niagara Falls .
They bring there rude ugly behavior and politics.
Its going to be a nightmare now.
All we see are NY , NJ , Conn , Maryland , Va , and Mass plates .
but NY is half of the invasion .
What a disaster the Gop has created .”
Then you follow up.......

It is just rambling.
Yep - they move from liberal areas because they have become too oppressive - then start to convert the new areas to what they fled.....
The story is about the new tax laws impacting futures elections .
These are all examples of that fact .
The story is true .
Ok then. Just say it next time and stop blathering about some bill.
The migration will happen. It WILL be because of TRUMP and lower cost of living.
Libtard states can “Embrace the suck”!
You be concerned.
I’ll continue to trust my instincts & my own 2 eyes.
