Agreed. 800 miles of wall and other security measures will do it. The project will require extreme government spending as it is. Some of Kelly’s comments—condescending in regards to the President—were quoted in a Fox News piece. Looks like he’s politically ambitious and not satisfied with his current appointment.
John Kelly suggests Trump wasn’t ‘fully informed’ when he promised wall across entire border

I would say as well, even if more is required in the future, who’s to say it cant be built? Republicans will have more political capital in the future as a result when the wall is seen to be working.
Let them think they’ve got a victory over Trump - the wall even 800 miles will achieve a hell of a lot, and a few years down the line can be extended bit by bit.
Incidentally, the bit by it approach has been mastered by the left wing vermin, that have used that approach to gradually implement their terrible agenda over many years.
The right should be smart and try the same tactics. The all or nothing approach will only ever lead to failure.
My big problem here is with the generals condescending words about Trump which are totally unacceptable and I’m sure if Trump gets wind of them his general will get a dressing down.
