I think when taking a child of any age who is not able to order off the menu to a restaurant it is best to feed them beforehand. It does not take that long to eat at Chik-fil-A so this should not have been a problem. Did you go after dragging the child all over pillar and post knowing he would likely get hungry? That is very poor planning and inconsiderate of your own baby’s needs.
Babies deserve a relaxed environment to nurse in. I support the right of nursing moms and don’t think they should be forced to cold cars or smelly restrooms. But I fail to see how a restaurant dining room is the best place for a baby to nurse. How can you properly interact with your baby in such an environment?
I totally disagree with your diaper comparison.

My “comparison” was in reply to the Moronic Woman’s excuse for not covering up while Nursing her Baby.
Here’s another comparison, after a Pitt Bull mauls a Toddler, the owner says the Dog doesn’t like being on a Leash with a Muzzle.
In other words, blame the Baby, blame the Toddler or blame the Dog because the Grownup in the room is a clueless wonder.
