I used to be a catholic when I was young and was brought up in it. Then I learned to think for myself and found my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and left “religion” behind. I’d suggest the same for other recovering catholics.
I am sincerely (no snark intended) that you have found and held onto a personal relationship with Jesus. To be without Him is something I cannot even fathom. How does one truly live absent from His love?
