As a teacher I noticed that children don't use their imaginations anymore and have, therefore, diminished capacity to create new thoughts.

My apologies, because I was responding to you, I did not include the quote assuming that I was just reinforcing what you already believed.

Oh that's okay...you were just a bit too cryptic for me to grasp, is all.

I'm not sure when it all started, but I did notice, awhile ago, that children just don't seem to HAVE an imagination any more. And HOW that was taken away from them, I don't know, but this started many decades ago.

It can't be blamed on watching T.V., because there was T.V. when I was a kid and kids back then had great imaginations and pretended to be all kinds of different characters, when playing with each other.
