Californians move to Nevada hoping to avoid California's ever-increasing tax burden. In doing so, they are turning a solid Red state to Purple.

And now they get their comeuppance by getting taxed for a team that is probably the least politically correct team on the planet.

Fail.

Not true, if you compare both the vote totals and percentages between 2012 and 2016, the GOP made a strong improvement in both.

Given the Dem vote fraud and the surging GOP voter registrations in NV, the state is probably leaning Red right now.

Also, the GOP controlled both the governorship and state legislature when they voted for the stadium tax. More importantly, they voted to tax the tourists via hotel taxes. NV residents only pay the tax if they pay for a NV hotel room.
