Exactly and as a skater may i just say the triple axel is impossible on so many levels.

Surya Bonaly of France was the first woman to attempt quadruple jumps in top-level international competition. Didn’t quite get there, but she was an astounding athlete.

That Nancy/Tonya incident was about the only time I ever paid attention to figure skating. Here is a video of Tonya doing that triple axel thing. Was she the only skater to ever do one?

I lived in Melrose at the time which was right next to Stoneham. I remember driving by Nancy's house when there was about 20 news trucks parked outside. It was quite a big deal.

But, Tonya is more my kind of girl. Nancy was one ice-cold princess. I would feel much more comfortable dating Tonya. We'd go bowling together, knock back a few beers and then make out in the parking lot. Can't imagine a night like that with Nancy Kerrigan.

Not that I condone what Tonya's goons did on her behalf. She should have picked her friends better. She should have gone with me!
