My Mother the Car.
Hill Street Blues
Oh yeah! I forgot that was a show. A great Mancini tune.
The original episodes of The Rebel had the Johnny Yuma theme song sung by Johnny Cash. You can still see Johnny listed in the credits. Now you have to imagine the song when the show is replayed today.
Green Acres.
Taken from the musical "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty".
Regardless of anyone’s choice of their favorite TV theme song, it is nice every once in awhile to have a post like this to take our minds off of a lot of issues. I think I will enjoy this thread.
Cimarron Strip
My Uncle Bill played a mean Hawaii Five-0 on the spoons.
Good one. Yes, it is a very visceral score. Fits the subject very well.
It is old of you can assign a collector plate to the back of it.
I’m surprised that it took 71 posts to mention the Andy Griffith show. That was a nice light cheerful intro from days past.
I was a ‘Dark Shadows’ fan, too!
Beau likes, ‘Paladin’ and I like, ‘Charlie’s Angels’ for theme songs.
He also likes the theme from, ‘The Andy Griffith Show’...
The Fishin’ Hole
Lyrics by Everett Sloane, Earle Hagen and Herbert Spencer
Well, now, take down your fishin’ pole and meet me at The Fishin’ Hole,
We may not get a bite all day, but don’t you rush away.
What a great place to rest your bones and mighty fine for skippin’ stones,
You’ll feel fresh as a lemonade, a-settin’ in the shade.
Whether it’s hot, whether it’s cool, oh what a spot for whistlin’ like a fool.
What a fine day to take a stroll and wander by The Fishin’ Hole,
I can’t think of a better way to pass the time o’ day.
We’ll have no need to call the roll when we get to The Fishin’ Hole,
There’ll be you, me, and Old Dog Trey, to doodle time away.
If we don’t hook a perch or bass, we’ll cool our toes in dewy grass,
Or else pull up a weed to chaw, and maybe set and jaw.
Hangin’ around, takin’ our ease, watchin’ that hound a-scratchin’ at his fleas.
Come on, take down your fishin’ pole and meet me at The Fishin’ Hole,
I can’t think of a better way to pass the time o’ day.

The Man From U.N.C.L.E, , by Jerry Goldsmith, first season version.
A couple of years back, I came across a compilation of Rockford’s voice messages from each season. Laughed a lot. Here is Season 1:
