I would get on a boat or something that floats and head out to sea, and come back after the missile (hopefully not nuclear) hit land.

My 39 foot Catamaran sailboat with 2 diesel engines and sails occasionally goes a bit over 10 knots. I would want to be at least 50 miles upwind from a nuclear blast and preferably 100 miles. With just minutes for warning, a boat or something else that floats isn't going to work.

It would be better to crawl into a sewer or hole in the back yard.
