I left the computer on all night , woke up this morning , and got message that new updates had been installed . Just looked and KB4056894 has been installed again as well as KB890830 and .Net Framework . Now I have to worry about BSOD issues again ? I thought MS stopped issuing KB4056894 because of all the problems those with older AMD processors were having ???

Hm.

https://www.windowslatest.com/2018/01/09/windows-10-kb4056892-and-windows-7-kb4056894-pulled/

None of the KB40568** updates have been installed to any of my fully updated AMD computers. However, none of them are running Win 7.

So maybe Win 7 is different, or maybe Microsoft in Japan didn't get the memo to stop pushing the updates.

You can still follow the procedure at the link in #22 and try to "hide" KB4056894. Unfortunately you have to change Windows settings so updates are not installed automatically, then uninstall the update, then run Windows update again, then locate KB4056894 in the downloaded-but-not-installed updates, right click the update, and select "Hide update."
