I grew up in what was the sticks in Montgomery County on a farm that is now part of Evansburg State Park. When I was a teen in the early ‘60’s, you could drive into Center City late at night and mess around and it was safer than most suburbs today. Frank Rizzo was a dem but did a hell of a job as Police Chief and then Mayor as far as public safety was concerned. His cops were head-knockers and the ferals were under control. Anyway, the only Eagles game I ever attended was at Franklin field in 1960 when I was 13 years old. Fly, Philly may be a shithole but the ville I live in now, Baltimore, is an even shittier hole. Never a Ravens fan. Go Steelers and fly, Eagles, fly.
Yes I think I’ve talked to you before, I’m from the same place. First and only Eagles game I saw was at Franklin field in 1961. They barely beat the Cowboys. Lol.
