Note: This is not my blog.
The Science Fiction Writer's Association has been purging itself of conservative and libertarian authors for years after the Sad Puppies movement tried to challenge the use of "social justice" messaging as a factor in deciding Hugo nominees.
Now they've doubled down by:
* banning Hispanic science fiction author Jon Del Arroz from Worldcon
* the head of SFWA publicly criticizing Moira Greyland, daughter of Marion Zimmer Bradley and Walter Breen, after her book on her sexual abuse and the sex crimes of both her parents came out
* the active purging of conservatives from nominations for scifi awards and seeking to ban them from conventions
* attacking (including death threats) to anyone who criticizes the SFWA's purely political exclusionary acts or who defends authors like Arroz and Peatland
This is aside from the comic world's injection of social justice into everything and liberal bullies trying to get all conservatives purged from the industry. It is so bad that a liberal illustrator who worked on Jon Del Arroz's crowd-funded Alt-Hero comic was denied work, simply for taking on that project.
Mad Genius Club entry “Stir the Pot” on the Science Fiction Writers’ Association going full SJW

If it is a Hugo Award winner it is an immediate NO from me. I get a lot better fiction self published ow than the established writers .
Some good info on the whole thing, including the alt-hero comic is over at Vox Day’s site:
I know. I contributed to the Alt-Hero comic crowd-funding project.
It isn’t just the organization. It is liberal bullies taking over institutions and then actively excluding conservatives from said groups while trying to shut them out of industries, as well.
The owner of Diversity and Comics is getting the same treatment as Arroz, because he criticized the SJW comics that came out and the liberals saying you’re evil bigots if you don’t buy them.
I’m in for the Rebel t-shirt, myself.
