Spend a bit of time on the net - the OWS tanked after she came out for Obama. All of this is well documented and I did post just a couple of the ‘backlash’ articles out on the web, most my the mass media.
It seems her ‘fan base’ isn’t into identity politics.
After endorsing Obama, however, Oprah’s ratings fell 7%
The ratings continued to tank and eventually the OWS show closed.
I will say that many credit Oprah for both Obama’s nomination nd election, that her endorsement was ‘worth a million votes’.
From that viewpoint her status as a ‘kingmaker’ has certainly risen.
