The Dems will put up a candidate at some point - if it is not Oprah, then and only then will it go away, right down the old memory hole of the Media.
In the meantime, “Oprah for Prez” generates a buzz for a party that is on the ropes.
The media has only limited control on things. Power brokers can put a stop to this and the media will report and probably spin it.
