I have three thoughts on this. First, getting eaten whole is a terrible way to go (funny how that rhymes). Second, I never did like lizards. Third, if the lizard eats the rest of the monkey, why not the tail as well?

Q1: Do Komodo dragons like their monkeys rare, medium or well done?

Q2 How the heck did she doing let a Komodo dragon get into her pajamas?

The monkey was probably injured, diseased, or old. OR, it (the monkey) thought as you do (”I’m too quick for that lizard to catch me”), got a little too close, and then discovered that the “dragon” can lunge / snap with startling quickness. Komodos are also accomplished ambush hunters.

Surprised the monkey was slow enough (or the Komodo was fast enough) to get bitten in the first place. Komodos usually bite, infect the victim with saliva and bacteria, then wait for the victim to die before catching it.

I had a Komodo Dragon bite my sister once.

That was mean of you - how did you get it to do the deed?

Yes, they were.

One of my favorite lines is near the end of their old radio parody, “One Fella’s Family”:

“One Fella’s Family is produced by T. Wilson Messi. This is a Messi production.”

And there was the “man-on-the-street” live interview with a cranberry farmer, while gunshots, screaming and sounds of general mayhem were going on in the background.
