Last night I was hanging out somewhere else (after having been on FR all day) & the ‘Gorilla Channel’ came up. I laughed out loud and almost fell off my chair. Someone on a joke twitter site (https://twitter.com/pixelatedboat ) wrote a tall tale & said it came from Wolff’s book - it goes like this (see links for exact verbiage):
Wow, this extract from Wolff’s book is a shocking insight into Trump’s mind:
Trump’s first night in the WH, he thought the TV was broken because there was no “Gorilla Channel’. To appease him, the staff put together a bunch of gorilla documentaries. They had to hastily construct a transmission tower on the South Lawn to broadcast it into the bedroom TV. Trump was bored, didn’t like the lack of action, so the videos were edited to show only gorillas fighting. Trump liked it & would be watching only inches away from the TV for 17 hours a day, talking to the gorillas ... ‘the way you hit that other gorilla was good!’, etc.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Certain idiots out there (Libs, all of ‘em) started retweeting & commenting until they were informed it was all a big hoax. Purportedly (this may be a tall tale, too), Netflix customer service has been getting calls wanting the “Gorilla Channel”, to the point that it’s becoming annoying for Netflix. As someone commented, by Monday, there WILL be a Gorilla Channel & it will have more subscribers than sales of Wolff’s book.
