I work in Houston in oil and gas and lots of folks around me go to Angola. There’s a direct flight from Houston, but you knew that.
My doc said his job is boring save for the folks that come back from Africa with a thing on, or in, their body.
“Ever been on a flight where CDC detected someone had TB?”
Nope. Wouldn’t wish that on anyone.
Over the years, many years dating back to the 50s, Scott and White in Temple became known as the place to go for odd foreign diseases. I wonder how that came to be? I know that many of the old Exxon people went there and some worked in Venezuela back in the day the company was very active there.
That is THE flight of course all 15 hours of it.
