I like Paul Sorvino, he was in season two of “Law & Order”, wish he had stayed on.

Glad someone else remembers him on L&O.

The early years were the best ones.

In 1991, he took on the role of Sergeant Phil Cerreta (replacing actor George Dzundza in a new role) on the popular series Law & Order. Sorvino was initially excited about the role, but would leave after 29 episodes, citing the exhausting schedule demanded by the filming of the show, a need to broaden his horizons, and the desire to preserve his vocal cords for singing opera.

Apparently Paul knew where "Law and Order" was going.

Sorvino also had a short uncredited role in the 1993 movie “The Firm”.

He played Tommie Morolto, one of the heads of a Chicago crime family.

The role was short with very little speaking but he played the Mob Boss role perfectly.

He was also Worf’s adopted brother Nikolai on Deep Space 9.
