That old herding canard ain’t working.
That’s been tried for years around here at various venues, including my husband’s work campus.
One year he came back from Xmas vaca finding all the big flocks disappeared.
The namby-pamby liberals running his campus finally gave up on all the “nice” stuff including the BC thing and shot them. They did send them to homeless shelters and so on.
However, geese are very populous here so they still aren’t really containing them, and keep trying “nice” methods. Latest is German Shepherd silohuettes by the pond. LOL. How dumb do they think these animals are?
It’s a big problem here. They try that and drones, netting them and hunters. Just about everything.
Another bird menace [for me as a kayaker] are the mute swans. They attack like pit bulls. [especially the ones along the CT shoreline]. I wish they would open a hunting season for them.
Canadian geese, don’t attack [at least not in my experience]
