Not funny. My son has a very dear friend who lives there. How about compassion for the dead?

Every few years a car would go off similar cliffs at the “Devil’s Slide” south of San Francisco. We were lucky a bus never went off the cliffs there.

Your son’s friend should completely avoid the Curva del Diablo while traveling in that region.
When countless people have died in a curve renown for extreme danger, one should not feel surprised if one finds themselves in a wreck in that same spot.

Roads like this are why I only drove around Stinson Beach one time, at the begging request of a friend. I was very uncomfortable the whole time, thinking ‘Never again. I don’t care who wants to see a special rock formation.

Tilden Park near Berkeley also has narrow, wrap around roads like this one, or at least they did 20 years ago.
Great vistas. Great risks, too.
