These days, China is not that different from anywhere else.

Trees, no God mostly.

There is a small percentage of Christians, but the heavy hand of the state is ever present.

No sermons. No heated churches in winter.

I lived in Shanghai for 3 years.

I too found the Christmas tree interesting more than the dog. Christianity is growing in China and the government is trying to live with it. Will there be religious freedom in Chins in the year of the dog?
