This type of "performance" is par for the course with this group of misfits that goes by the name of "band." They have no official association with the school and many are not even students at Stanford. My alma mater dealt with similar douchebaggery at the Fiesta Bowl several years ago and take great pleasure in having beaten their football team then, too.

My understanding is that It IS the school band and they ARE all Stanford students. But I only live nearby and attend Stanford games now and then, so I could be wrong.

They did the same thing when Iowa played Stanford in the rose bowl 2 years ago. They played the “Farmers Only.Com thing. Iowa fans booed and were po’d. Thought it kind of funny. But their shtick gets old.
