Unless he can prove he wasn’t kicking the shark in the teeth, this guy might be subject to CA wildlife cruelty laws.

Pretty sure this is a common area for shark sightings and attacks.

Just 25 miles out are the Farallon Islands where a large population of elephant seals attracts great whites. Lot’s of other species of seals too. I’m guessing the area is a popular shark hang out, and probably not the safest place to surf.

Was it an “Assault Shark”? I thought California outlawed them. Perhaps it go in through the Fish Market loophole.
