Dakota Fred, thought maybe he had dug his last glory hole.
I was wondering why him and his son disappeared from the Gold Rush show for the last few years with not even a mention of him.
Has Todd ever done an honest days work since the series has been on? His father is more of a man than he is. I thought the whole gold mining thing was to make money to survive...not turning it into a competition with another miner (Todd and Parker). The only one I liked on that whole series was Tony Beets. That might be because he was born in Holland like my father was, and appears to have worked hard for many years to get where he is. I'll stick with Swamp people which starts a new season February 1st. Great show...great people!!
I’d like to see an episode of an Alaska show highlighting the film crews, how they film and live.
Thanks for the post. Mr. RR is president of a prospecting club. He has about 350 members who come to events from about six different states. It is a very active club. He has visited with Dakota Fred several times and they have attended events together. Glad to hear Fred is back.

I still watch the show occasionally but not nearly as interesting as it was. I used to like Dakata Fred’s ingenuity.
On the show. tired of all the contrived drama about reaching their goals, contrived feudes and dumb bets.
Espcially tied of hearing the narrator mention how reaching their goal of X ounces was in jeopardy as if the world was going to end if they don’t make it. He must say it 20x per episode.
