I like to think we have something to do with it. Trump is smart enough to have a hand, unlike our last idiot who was too dumb and timid.
Maybe Obama can send some more weapons and money to help the Iranian regime to quell the riots and protests, or at least turn a blind eye like he did last time the people in Iran attempted to rise up.

Coincidentally, didn’t we just recently have a post about a high level agreement between the US and Israel to counter Iran’s nuclear program, and their expanding influence in the region?
If I recall correctly, it was described as an action plan, that included diplomatic, economic, military, and intelligence officials coordinating overt and covert approaches.
If trump finds a way to neutralize Iran and north korea, the chizaling on Mt. Rushmore should begin in earnest.

On who's side?
Under Obama we (and I assume the CIA) worked to downplay the last round of uprisings in Iran, while at the same time fostering uprisings against moderate pro-western leaders in other countries, like Egypt.
Obama was neither dumb nor timid. He simply played for the other team.
Once the rest of America understands that he is and was an America-hating Muslim, the rest flows easily for them.

Maybe Trump should invite the Shan’s son to the White House? I bet Saudi Arabia might fund an army to restore a monarchy in Iran.
