A Detroit utility worker responding to a reported power outage early Friday at a city lighting substation found a door to the building had been pried open.

Punishment does not fit the crime.

Up in smoke!
You would think there would be more resistance to puns like that.
Now that’s what I call a ZOT!!

It’s nice that you found something positive to say about a negative story that’s so polarizing.
Do you think they should amp it up?
Giving meaning to the R in Ohm’s Law
On the contrary ...
Mess with the bull, get the horns. Monkeying around with high voltage, high current electric power more or less punishes itself.
Ohm discovered the law; God wrote it. You WILL obey it.
Not enough R= open circuit.
I had OSHA training and cert ironically in “Detwaa” this summer and got to see a video of an accident by trained electricians where they didn’t survive. Very sobering, RIP to the gents, it is no way to go, and FWIW, the economy is kicking it in Detroit, sad these two guys couldn’t (or wouldn’t) find a good paying job, construction everywhere.
“Authorities cannot tell if they were Black or not. They are now and crispy.”
Oh man, my wife and I are splitting a gut over that comment. I mean I know it’s morose, OTOH it’s probably sadly true!!!
Lol,yes he was.
R = the thieves
I = what went through them

“We have two, that we know, two black males,” Detroit police Capt. Kyra Joy Hope said. “One of them apparently touched 24,000 volts, and then transferred over to the other one.”

That’s odd, they were lily-white Scandinavian guys when they went in.
I’ve told my Mom she should install something like that at her house. She’s had two break-ins within the last month by “homeless.”
