I have come to like Cumberbatch, but yes Jeremy Brett IS Sherlock Holmes. I have a Sherlock Pinterest page and get many hits on my pictures of Jeremy Brett. He is still appreciated and missed.

Your YouTube link is better than the one I posted from the website.

They have expanded the museum since I visited (1998). I don’t remember the rather large gift shop and the big signs on the building. (I seldom go to gift shops anyway.) So they have gone more “touristy” We didn’t have Dr. Watson either. ;o)

Mother claimed that on my first visit to an art museum I looked around and asked where the gift shop was. A friend brought me home a CIA ornament when she visited them when she was contracting. Loved it. A CIA Gift Shop!!

I’ve just gotten my third colorized Basil Rathbone movie so now I just need suggestions for a song to go with him!

First thing to pop into my mind was this, but it’s probably not what you had in mind:

Jethro Tull - “You’re Never Too Old To Rock ‘n Roll If You’re Too Young To Die”

You are SO funny! It’s what I LOVE about FR. You guys show me things I’d NEVER see on my own.

You’re right. Not what I’m looking for. But it was SO funny!

For a music video, you need music that

1) tells a story
2) has understandable lyrics

So the beatles almost never works because of repetition. Besides the fact that YouTube won’t let me upload any of their songs.

Sometimes I have a great song and I wait DECADES to be able to use it. I was running a conference in New Orleans and stood outside a music place listening to a band play Boys of Summer OVER and OVER and OVER. I could not find a single show to use it for until FINALLY I made it for Deep Space Nine this past year. And YouTube won’t allow it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You “saw” Holmes as I did, total curiosity in any mystery, how it happened, how it was done, easily bored without something to challenge his immense intellect!

Part of the storytelling aspects of music videos is creating music videos that expose the way you “see” something. That exact characteristic is what I was showing off in The Arbiter, from Chess for the Brett Sherlock Holmes. I LOVE sharing analysis conclusions.
