Back in the mid 60s, SAC B-52s over flew south Iowa for some reason never fully explained. I was in high school in ‘66 when one of these birds was seen from the second floor window of our school library/study hall.

One of the pranksters in our class spotted the Buff from his seat nearest the open window and yelled, “Air Raid !” and dove under the table.
