Muslims destroyed the nose of the historical Sphinx because it is an icon. Muslims cannot wait to ruin the noses on Mt. Rushmore.
But Muslims worship their Rock God. Walk in endless circles around a rock. Allah the Rock God.

Why is it that those who take it upon themselves to preach “tolerance” and “respect” for the beliefs of others, don’t take this message to places like Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc. Mr. Haroon Moghul and his fellow missionaries of “tolerance” should travel to these countries armed with their “open-mindedness” and cases of those “COEXIST” bumper stickers and really start doing some good.
By the way; perhaps Mr. Moghul should learn a bit more about Christianity before supposing what Christians perceive as honorable to Christ. He could start by reading the New Testament of the Bible.

Muslims don’t believe in Jesus as divine. And no other group has murdered, enslaved, and destroyed Christain lands than Islam. It’s a mortal foe of Christianity and should never be treated as anything less...

Or both state-establishments had a common Gnostic/Sufi, and prior, origin.
There is nothing new under the Aten.

Rather, ex-Catholics: Nestorians, you know. They did not accept the teachings of the Council of Chalcedon in 451 AD.
Visionaries, one could say. Precursors of Protestantism by almost 1000 years.

They believe that the Christians’ account of Jesus is falsified and blasphemous.
Therefore, we are not prophet-Jesus “believers,” we are Christian blasphemers, in their eyes.

That is the way I understand it also. I have chatted with muslims on line and find that they are very dismissive of other people’s beliefs. I did not get the sense that they were very respectful of Jesus or anyone else for that matter.

The model of the pope/priest as a temporal intercessor perched atop the state-establishment - and its similarity to the model Pharaoh Akhenaten propped itself up atop, with them as man-god priest standing between the sheeple and the Aten.... is worth
contemplation.
Meanwhile, Christ's victorious resurrection dispenses with ALL temporal "intercessors" who would stand between the Individual and our Creator. They have no dominion in our relationship with Him.

They don’t realize that we do not want a monopoly on Jesus. We want to share Him with the Muslim world and the rest of the non believing word.

All priests are intercessors, OT and NT. The one High Priest of the NT and until the end of the world is Jesus. Any man who has the title and function of "priest," does so as a member of the Body of Christ, ministering not a priesthood of his own, but Christ's,
in persona Christi. It is not based on the merits of some human person (which would be exactly zero, apart from Christ), but on the merits and the actions of Christ alone.
This is one of the many important ramifications of our life in Christ. We -- even you and I --- can with Paul, "I live: yet not 'I', but Christ in me."
Every Sunday every Catholic prays aloud or sings the following pray, which most of us know by heart. Notice the supremacy and unique worthiness of Christ to be adored, proclaimed by this prayer:
Glory to God in the highest, and peace to His people on earth. Lord God, heavenly King, Almighty God and Father, we worship You, we give You thanks, we praise You for Your glory.
Lord Jesus Christ, only Son of the Father, Lord God , Lamb of God, You take away the sin of the world: have mercy on us; You are seated at the right hand of the Father: receive our prayer.
For You alone are the Holy One, You alone are the Lord, You alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of the Father. Amen.
