Date Set For (Ill-Annoy) Barack Obama Day

Aug. 4, 2018, will be the first time that Illinois will commemorate the date as Barack Obama Day.
Illinois’ General Assembly passed a law that would give Obama an official designation on his birthday. The supporters in Springfield originally wanted to make the day an official state holiday in which all non-vital state services would close. This drew opposition from lawmakers such as state Rep. Mark Batinick, R-Plainfield, who thinks the state couldn’t afford to give state workers yet another paid holiday.

Will they celebrate his half-white/half-black heritage or just the black heritage?
I believe obama’s first act in the Illinois senate was to establish mooslim appreciation day. Maybe they should have it on the same day?
Also, income levels for blacks was less 8 years after obama left office than before he got elected. Yeah, a lot of reason to celebrate this POS.

Just curious, what other states have individual days honoring their native sons who became President? Obviously not counting the US National Holiday of “President’s Day”! Does Arkansas honor William Jefferson Clinton or Texas honor George W Bush?
