How so?
Certain cancers can go undetected for quite a while until it is too late and can sometimes kill quickly.
There was a talk show host in Baltimore who got a diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He really didnt have much in the way of symptoms but went to his doctor, mostly for what he thought was indigestion. He talked about it on air and kept doing his show but only for a few weeks after his diagnosis. A couple of weeks later he was dead.
One of my ex-husbands nephews had a wife, a beautiful woman inside and out, a loving mother and wonderful person. She had been suffering from what she thought was the flu but her symptoms were not going away. She went to her doctors because she was feeling so fatigued. He drew blood and found her white count was off the charts, sent her to Johns Hopkins for more testing, it was acute leukemia. She died eight weeks later.
