Many times people chuckle, but don’t laugh out loud.
And it is a felony to type LOL unless you can produce a timestamped recording of you actually laughing out loud.
This is a true fact. And why you will never see an LOL pass my lips. I only type Haha, which is also a lie, but with a more human aspect.
