I understand your point. The point that I would like to make is this: if the experts are as brilliant as they claim to be, they would have certainly have insisted on a final review of this embarrassment.

As someone bashing my head against my keyboard today, along with my academic partner, for yet another article overloaded with mistakes after hours of interviews, I can guarantee that the writer never got back to the scientist. Years ago I remember writing an editorial that started with “Thank those of you who didn’t believe I said that.”
Reply #27 by mairdie pretty much says what I would have. The writers and artists always get it wrong, no matter what you do. Life’s too short to fight futile battles.
