Always nice to read stories like this. Hopefully baby Ruben won't have any serious health issues.

My older brother was born in 59. My mom got the measles while pregnant and her Dr advised an abortion.
Abortion wasn't the huge issue it is today so my folks hadn't really thought about being pro life or not.
My parents prayed about it and felt killing the baby was wrong. They would trust God to give them the strength to handle whatever the outcome would be.
The Dr had already got another Dr to sign saying the abortion wad necessary (2 Dr signatures were needed back then). She wasn't too happy when my folks told her no.
My brother was born healthy and as normal as a older brother can be.
