Apparently the POS is civil service so it is difficult to fire him. Can his “retirement” be frozen while he gets tied up in investigations of his misconduct? It would also be more leverage for testimony, since once he is out of govt it may be much harder to get any cooperation from him.... he will just plead the 5th. Maybe he will do that now, but while he is still officially with the FBI there may be more levers to pressure his full and complete testimony.

Difficult maybe but a good Manager can do it, I know from experience that it can be done and this jerk is so dirty it would be easy. Follow the procedure, cross your T’s and dot your i’s and above all do not back down or settle period.
