That’s the only way you can shoot well offhand. I shoot about 80% of my rifle practice offhand. With a good rifle, I can keep ALMOST all of them on a clay pigeon at 100 with a good rifle, 75 yards with an AK and a red dot.

I was mediocre in boot camp with offhand, probably my lowest score of the various stages. Too much movement.

Next time I had to qualify, I spent a lot of time with my sling technique before. Ended up with a way to loop it around and so tight I could just let it hang there without any other support. It removed most of my wobble and I got all bulls during the shoot.

Much closer but MUCH smaller target too... Unbelievable, but you can tell this one is not faked with the camera setup in it.

She is a damn good shot.
