Swamp Repubs Have Warmed Up to Trump Because They Finally Believe the Mueller Investigation Is BS
The Rush Limbaugh Show ^ | December 22, 2017 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 12/22/2017 1:08:06 PM PST by Golden Eagle

The reason why the Republicans in the House and Senate have warmed up to Donald Trump, the reason they now appear to be happily and eagerly on his team is because they now think that the Trump-Russia collusion charge is bogus...

The Republicans in Washington, the Republicans on Capitol Hill, were tiptoeing around this because they thought there could be something to it, because they just couldn’t believe that all of these people could be so complicit in a totally made-up lie. CIA directors, FBI directors, deputy attorney generals, deputy FBI directors, they just… I gotta tell you: When I found out I was livid and I’m still livid about it and more than a little bit amazed...

I think the tipping point here is the Republicans in the House and Senate now finally have arrived at the belief that this whole thing is much ado about nothing and may, in fact, be a greater threat to the Democrats if the truth of this is ever known. I think that’s why they’ve warmed up to Trump...

Rush sounds a little naive to me.

All of DC knew it was lies, they just thought they would successfully overturn the will of the voters as they have done before

They are still working on it.

So true.

Trump somehow managed to deliver this year despite some early staffing mistakes that put too many GOPe conspirators in his cabinet and WH.

He’s on a roll now, but needs a careful strategy to walk that back, bit by bit, before the elections next year.

2018 mid-terms coming...pick your side. Those that voted for Trump will do a 2nd time. They can be against that if they want...at their own peril.

They Finally Believe the Mueller Investigation Is BS

With M’s past background, associations, and friends, Stevie Wonder could see the process was RIGGED from the beginning.

I don’t believe this for a second. The swamps donors wanted the tax cut, otherwise they would have voted it down just like obamacare repeal.

You will know for sure come January. Watch and see if you get more BS support and legislative failures in the early part of the year. If the GOPE thinks they can coast on the tax cut to re-election in 18 nothing will get passed next year. If they don’t watch for small issues to come forward in the hopes of fooling the base yet again. A leopard may claim to lose his spots but they are still there and they are still leopards.

How is it that we all knew the investigation was bogus but the swamp didn’t? The same goes for all these Obama/Clinton scandals. Don’t they know anything about them? I always thought they knew but didn’t care. Now, I’m not so sure. They may just be that stupid.

The swamp finally believes there is too much blow back. They will find a couple of toadies to take the blame and that is the last we will hear of it.

Sorry...but that's not the Trump style

Executive Order Blocking the Property of Persons Involved in Human Rights Abuse or Corruption The White House ^ | 12/21/17 | President Donald Trump

Posted on 12/21/2017, 4:27:16 PM by Bodleian_Girl

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (50 U.S.C. 1701 et seq.) (IEEPA), the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.) (NEA), the Global Magnitsky Human Rights Accountability Act (Public Law 114-328) (the “Act”), section 212(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 (8 U.S.C. 1182(f)) (INA), and section 301 of title 3, United States Code,

I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, find that the prevalence and severity of human rights abuse and corruption that have their source, in whole or in substantial part, outside the United States, such as those committed or directed by persons listed in the Annex to this order, have reached such scope and gravity that they threaten the stability of international political and economic systems. Human rights abuse and corruption undermine the values that form an essential foundation of stable, secure, and functioning societies; have devastating impacts on individuals; weaken democratic institutions; degrade the rule of law; perpetuate violent conflicts; facilitate the activities of dangerous persons; and undermine economic markets.

The United States seeks to impose tangible and significant consequences on those who commit serious human rights abuse or engage in corruption, as well as to protect the financial system of the United States from abuse by these same persons.

And here is the tool kit to accomplish this:

(From Wikipedia)....A 2013 press release from the United States House Financial Services Committee criticized the CFPB for what was described as a "radical structure" that "is controlled by a single individual who cannot be fired for poor performance and who exercises sole control over the agency, its hiring and its budget." Moreover, the committee alleged a lack of financial transparency and a lack of accountability to Congress or the President

Looks like the CFPB is the ideal tool to deconstruct the various rouge agencies.

To answer your question, true collusion with Russia is indeed a serious matter, such as what we’ve seen with Obama/Clinton and Uranium One.

Rush is also attempting to use a reality distortion machine, to claim Swamp creatures didn’t know about the corrupt DOJ. He/They just thought the corruption was so deep, and so committed to nail Trump, that Trump was in serious jeopardy. And he still is, to some extent, but the tide is starting to turn, thanks to the Congressional committees, and conservative media exposing Uranium One, Strzok, etc.

The Democrats always accuse their opposition of what they are planning and doing.

This serves several purposes: (1) it diverts attention elsewhere, (2) it slows down recognition of what they were up to (3) it makes it more unbelievable when the truth finally comes out, because ordinary people have a hard time believing a national party would tell such stupendous lies, and (4) when the furor dies down, they can engage in the same behavior again because rank-and-file voters only remember that the Republicans did it too.

Of course, this strategy can only work if you have the MSM in your pocket, and are absolutely sure they will stay with you no matter what.

If a Republican tried this, he would get shot to pieces instantly.

I am so weary of the disingenuousness of Rush Limbaugh.

The treacherous RINOs were eagerly, desperately hoping it could be used to dump Trump, and have Pence, and Rush knows it.

He wants to keep his Establishment seat warm, so he can have the vile Paul Ryan on his show.

Rush is an elitist, but wants us to believe otherwise.

Yep. It's always #2 in the playbook, immediately after screaming "racist!" Great analysis of why it works, but at some point more Republicans need to be making these points. Trump is hopefully teaching them to not be so scared all the time, and that we can actually win if we will just fight.

Agree, he can’t possibly be as naïve as he is putting on.
He’s Bush League, but knows enough about his audience to keep that under wraps.

Oh come on they all knew it was BS in the first place. We all did!

Many of the GOPe in Congress were gung ho about appointing the special prosecutor. We all knew before the inauguration that the dossier was fake and that Comey was corrupt. The GOPe wanted to take Trump down as much as the democrats and their media puppets did.

The GOP Congress is coming around to Trump now because they hadn’t done a damn thing all year until the tax bill. Which they barely passed. They lost an easy GOP seat in Alabama because republican voters stayed home - because voters are sick of the BS. Can you hear us now???

GOP better step up and deliver more of what they have been promising or else they will get shellacked next Nov and we will all suffer.
