GOP senator demands information about how Mueller obtained Trump transition records
Fox News ^ | ecember 19, 2017 | Akex Pappas, John Roberts

In a Tuesday letter first obtained by Fox News, Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson, Republican chairman of the Committee on Homeland Securty and Government Affairs, requested a variety of information from the GSA director, including a description of the steps taken by the agency to determine if it was appropriate to provide the documents to the special counsel’s office...

In his letter to the agency, Johnson said the GSA did not have “authority” over transition documents. He said that the Presidential Transition Act of 1963 gave the GSA a prominent role in the transition process, but that it “acts merely as a facilitator of office space, supplies and services.”

Further indication that Mueller may have corrupted some of his key evidence he hoped to use against Trump and his associates.

Ah, this is the important question. Unless Bob Mueller personally hacked the Trump transition team computers, exactly who and how these files were illegally obtained will further reveal the conspirators.

Executive Privilege and Attorney Client Privilege

Mueller admitted as required by law no Minder to separate the Privilege material

Making Mueller so bent he can't use anyting

Trump is supposedly laughing his ass off because nothing is there and now owns Mueller

That Page guy spox sure was cocky. I’m with the McCabe ‘f Flynn then F Trump’ maneuver where he forced the PTT data school. Deep state thought CINC’s voters would have fallen away by the time Mueller went for the kill. I hope their nightly nightmares about the REAL resistance - us - are as numerous and distasteful as mine.

This is what dems do. they parse a few words and no one will fight them. Requesting information is not fighting back. Mueller should be charged and cinfined starting yesterday.

LOL Mueller doesn't have to have hacked the GSA computers for the data he received from them to be considered inappropriately obtained. I know you think Mueller walks on water, and it's impossible that any actions of his could be struck down by a judge, but many legal experts, including liberals like Turley and Dershowitz, believe he screwed the pooch on this one. Sorry to burst your bubble, but even comic book heroes make mistakes, and the timing couldn't be worse.

I read BigBob’s post to say that the handling of the data would reveal additional deep state conspirators - which I do not see as supporting Mueller in any way.

https://www.axios.com/johnson-requests-info-from-gsa-after-mueller-receives-transition-emails-2518729897.html

Among the things Johnson requested from Murphy:

- Identities of the GSA employee that authorized giving the emails to Mueller, and the employee designated as the Federal Transition Coordinator.

- GSA training staff undergo focusing on the “private nature of transition team’s records and the legal protections of these private materials.”

- Documents and communications between GSA employees “referring or relating to the production of records generated during the presidential transition for President-elect Donald J. Trump.”

- Copy of the Memorandum of Understanding the GSA and TFA entered into during transition.

Thanks, but if you were familiar with bigbob (referred to as “bigbob Mueller” by some here) you would read his post to mean that the GSA may be guilty of something here, but Bob Mueller himself is as clean as the driven snow.

Two WaPo ‘journalists’ fessed up to fabricating that today. Mueller leaves when truth and justice demand it.. hopefully.

Mueller doesn’t care. He is going shock and awe. He doesn’t care if anything he does is reversed YEARS from now in court. He wants to take out POTUS, now. This is a political war. Not a legal one.

Making Mueller so bent he can't use anyting[sic]

We may think that but this is not a judicial process. He probably cannot use anything against somebody in a judicial proceeding but for Trump it's not a judicial proceeding. The worse Mueller gets are additional breadcrumbs to further investigate Trump, spin it and leak it to damage Trump while it will be used in impeachment proceedings regardless of how obtained.
