After what these kids did? No. What my grandmother always said applies. “Take them to the field and horsewhip them”.
Actually, the spanking should have been going on all along. Long before the brats got this bad.
My grandfather told me a story about a central Texas farm boy who was bullied in the 1920’s. He had a weak eye and was on the constant receiving end of abuse. One day on the bus ride home, two boys got off the bus at his stop to beat up on him. He grabbed a wooden fence post, killed one and severely injured the other. The sheriff did not press charges. Everyone in the county knew those two deserved it.
