Has anyone figured out these movies will disappoint the adults that were in like 4-6th grade when the original star wars came out is because.... we are now adults? Tastes change, people mature, people wringing their hands over how much they are experts on a movie genre is hardly worth noting, but I will. Move on folks...
“Luke” said the same thing in so many interviews. If you’re going to try to recapture your youth, you’re wasting your time. It’s just a movie.
Yep. I saw the first one 26 times in the theater. I was hooked. I really liked the last installment before this one as well as Rogue 1 because they tied it all together in two distinct ways. I loved seeing the original characters as the old people, and I loved seeing events leading up to the very moment the first movie starts.
So I’m done now, though I might like to see Carrie Fisher in her last role. But I leave this to the next generation of moviegoers to vote with their wallets.
