Stop doing that. Cell phone harassment.
I was checking Facebook every day, to see if anyone in my family, or a handful of friends had anything interesting, entertaining or newsworthy to say. A couple times a week Id post something. It was a good way to share pictures and videos.
Then on November 9, I posted that it was my 10th anniversary of being lung cancer free. I was slammed with so many responses, I couldnt keep up. When it got to 99 messages, the counter stopped. It still says I have 99 messages, though Im convinced its much higher. I havent opened Facebook since about an hour after I posted that.
I dont understand why anyone would want to be popular on social media. The response I got from that one post destroyed Facebook for me. Id like to see the latest family photos, but not bad enough to wade through all the other stuff.
I dont think theres an app for populating the planet.
A cell handset emits a max power of .6 watts. That’s the equivalent of 2 child’s walkie-talkies.
I don’t know what “base station” the article is referring to. The old bag phones had a max power of 3 watts.
I guess the issue may be hour after hour after hour of having the transmitter pressed against your head, rather than the amount of power itself.
You must have good eyes. I use my iPad for everything at home, phone for on the go mostly.
I wear glasses. When I need to read something with small print, like a nutrition label, I take a picture with my phone, and zoom in on it.
Good one. I’ll have to remember that.
I hope the response were at least salutary! :)
And congrads on that milestone!
My wife is 3 years cancer free from a malignant intestinal tumor which was excised. So far so good :)
