It may be fake news, but both the WP and NYT reported last night that Trump does not plan to fire Mueller, but instead is setting his sights on Sessions and Rosenstein, whom he called “weak.” If he could replace Sessions, he could effectively neuter Rosenstein, without having to remove them both.
