You are both right. I didn’t see that this was part of a domestic dispute, so not straight up burglary. And of course I’d like to hear his side. I stand corrected. If it had been straight up burglary of a strange house you have to admit it wouldn’t be the easily understandable crime like dui after a holiday party or trouble with opiates after a prescribed dose.

Could have just been retrieving some of his own property, even clothes, from the house.

Just entering into the house would have broken a court order. Taking anything, even if it was his, would be burglary
