It’s the same everywhere in GA. Everywhere I know, as a matter of fact.

Where I am companies offer line of sight internet. Towns that care can offer free WiFi, which is likely to free us from wires entirely. AT&T has a method to lay WiFi out over their electric wires so something sill pop now that competition will be allowed.

AT&T uses their routers in your home to provide that “free WiFi” across town.

Same with Comcast and others. They don’t bill you for it, but it is traffic that competes with your own at your house.
