Let’s see: Luther Strange voted with Trump 100% of the time. Unelected- appointed. The Governor calls for a special election because the former governor was a crook. Now what do we get? 3 years in the wilderness(unnecessary) and no one will be there to have Trump’s back. Pray for his good health.

Fertile soil of the Black belt, growing cotton??? Isn’t that racist to mention nowadays?? Do they really call it the Black belt of Alabama?

Roy Moore may have his quirks but so what. He’s a solid christian, constitutional conservative baptized with the fire of undeserved smears by evil people who got their tainted wish by defeating him. That gasbag Senator Shelby a shameful POC. Roy Moore is too good to be a Senator IMHO with those scumbuckets in DC.

It’s distressing that we have seen that the liberals were successful in derailing a GOP candidate based on trumped up charges of bad behavior, which simply can never ever be proven or disproven.

So look for more of the Gloria Allred horse(fill in the blank) in the future. The liberals see that this works so they will keep doing it.

And they just handed their future over to a flaming socialist-democrat.

Enjoy Doug “flaming dipshit” Jones.

Alabama just voted away all of their firearms rights.

Jones, along with that POS shelby, will destroy hunting im Alabama now.

But they just couldn’t bring themselves to counter the MSM-socialist-democrat narrative.

A few years ago, Blacks began complaining that the word Dixie was an awful, racist word and should be removed from the Alabama license plates. Well, they tried and tried but some finally discovered that it was in the Alabama Constitution that the tag must include the term "Heart Of Dixie" on each tag. Once they realized they didn't have near the support to change the constitution, they shrank the size of the motto and placed it inside a small heart that is barely readeable. See Below, It was once the size of God Bless America, which was also on the tag.

This tag is like my tag. You can get tags with different phrases on the bottom instead of "God Bless America"

"Do they really call it the Black belt of Alabama?"

It is named that because of the soil. It was/is an excellent cotton growing area and that is why there is also a high Black population in the 'Black Belt.'

Alabama failed America. Alabama let their fundamentalist preachers talk them into either vote for the demon rat or write in a name (20,000 write ins). A southern man doesn’t need Doug Jones around anyhow......but they elected him anyway.

I can assure you that the fundamentalist preachers were for Roy Moore all the way.

The liberal pastors at the big Southern Baptist, Methodists and Episcopalians went all out for Doug Jones and made their opinions very public.

This from Gary Furr, pastor of Vestavia Hills Baptist, a large Southern Baptist Church in a wealthy, but small city with contiguous Birmingham borders.

Dear Friends:

I am doing this on my private email, not as a representation of my church or its position. I am writing to my friends and acquaintances to ask you to vote for Doug Jones on Tuesday.

The world and the pollsters seem to have already told us that it's Roy Moore's job, not matter what. Well, I don't agree.

I am writing to you as someone who knows you to ask either that you vote for Doug or write in someone else. I deeply believe this is a crucial moment in Alabama life. Here are my reasons.

1. Judge Moore represents the cultural past. He seeks to return us to a world that doesn't exist anymore rather than a positive vision of the future.

2. I believe him to misrepresent the Christian faith. His fundamentalism is a caricature of the diversity of Alabama Christianity, much less the full diversity of our state. He is doing more damage to our faith than our critics.

3. His record is of division, self-promotion and grandstanding. The job of US senator is not about wrecking institutions. It is about leadership, the common good, and tending to the common life of the country.

4. His views of both the Constitution and the First Amendment in particular, as regards to the relationship of church and state, are far outside the norms of most Americans, and certainly is a contradiction of his own professed Baptist faith.

He espouses a culture that is dominantely [sic] Christian by the establishment of law rather than persuasive evangelism. Baptists were imprisoned and died opposing the very state-supported religion Roy Moore wants to create.

5. His track record in our state is that of refusing to obey laws he disagrees with, having been twice removed from the bench. I cannot imagine him being able to work with others to advance Alabama's interests.

6. I have left the allegations against him personally to the last. He deserves a hearing for these, but we have to make a judgement on what we have in hand. I have read everything about this i could find, including detailed accounts of the women's stories. I find them credible.

It was cinched for me when Judge Moore denied knowing a woman who never accused him of being improper toward her, only of dating her as a teen. Her disappointment that he lied about her cinched it for me.

[That's actually not true but truth doesn't seem to be a priority for this wolf in sheeps clothing.]

You have TWO things to ask: do I believe the nine accusers? [Two women accused him of wrong doing. Their stories were later shown to be full of holes and outright lies.]

Do I believe the plausibility of his multiple and varied explanations, denials and evasions? Should he win, a circus will be next as he goes into an ethics probe and it is hard to see how he survives.

On Doug Jones' side I see this:
1. A person of faith who will work hard.
["Abortion through 9 months is stand of Doug Jones.]
2. By all accounts a person of integrity [Not true.]
3. A fighter for racial justice.
4. Someone who can work with our business community and Senator Shelby to get things done. I don't think he will owe his allegiance to anyone.
5. I believe he will try to represent ALL Alabamians, not just those who agree with him.

I hope you will consider this come Tuesday. If you must, go vote for a write in, but I believe Doug would represent us well. I believe Roy Moore is a return to the 1950s. It's time to leave it behind.

Thank you. If you disagree, please delete, but you are welcome to share my thoughts with friends you think might want to know that at least one Baptist preacher does not follow Judge Moore. He will be a disaster for our state. Most of all, let your voice be heard. Get out and vote!

Gary Furr

I am from Alabama and am 100% pissed off at 50% of the state. There is nothing to celebrate about Alabama right now - unless Bama wins another National Title in January :).

To that 50% who voted for Jones, may you have a long lasting bout of explosive diarrhea.

The 20,000 who wrote in votes did the damage. Those would have put Moore over the top.

Furr is a long standing progressive....a real nut of a southern baptist convention preacher

I wonder why SBC never booted him....he’s a traitor to the word

Yes some suburban SBC churches are more moderate than say primitive or missionary baptist but most supported Moore

Franklin Graham for instance

To be sure Pentecostals and Lipscomb style church of Christ would be more sure bets

I’m comfortable in Southern Baptist and PCA churches and some Pentecost and southern Methodist too

Maybe Missouri Lutheran as well

But not reformed no way

Olde rites Anglican and Orthodox are ok too

Assemblies of God obviously

I attend Thompson Station Church and Brentwood Baptist...both are fine

Moore lost for many reasons

He didn’t campaign well

Soccer moms and millenials an hipsters flaked out

Many conservatives failed to get off their butts

Blacks answered the call

It was a 40 percent gross turnout versus 68 percent gross turnout a year ago

And their side was more motivated

The Dems and media including Cucks News and GOPe won ....it surprised us no question
