Morgan Spurlock is coming clean.
In an unprompted extended tweet titled “I am the problem,” the documentarian took it upon himself to reveal specific instances where he had sexually harassed women and been unfaithful to his wives.
“Over my life, there have been many instances that parallel what we see everyday in the news,” he wrote in his lengthy post in regards to the recent sexual harassment and assault accusations that have consumed headlines for weeks.

He tells about a sexual encounter that NO jury would have held as assault or rape. The incident sounds exactly like the way I had my last three kids! My wife was the assailant. I just wanted to cuddle.
He tells about calling his former assistant ‘Hot Pants’ when he called her into the office for help. Crass, yes. Sexual harassment, kind of a stretch. When his assistant quit she blackmailed him for a payout.
He also claims he cheated on all his wives and was diddled as a kid.
Guy is a real piece of work.

Out yourself before someone else does it to you.
If you confess before you are forced to it sounds less self-serving and more sincere.
By now everyone in Hollyweird must be considering doing this.
They will be trying to guess if those who they have wronged over the years will out them or keep silent.

I know that at my company I would at least get called in for counselling if I did this.
I would probably be sent to sensitivity training.
If I did it more than once I would be fired.
If you work for a large company you get very little leeway with this sort of thing. One complaint and you are going to see HR.

Maybe it’s just me, but I’m not seeing all this mea culpa as advancing the human race.
People have affairs. Either the spouse forgive them and they move on, or they get divorced.
Why announce it to the world?
