Since his dramatic speech while accepting the award for best ensemble in a drama series at at his year's Screen Actors Guild Awards, Harbour has racked up several nominations for his role as Jim Hopper. The actor, who yelled that people should punch people in the face if they don't like their political views, went from zero nominations prior to several afterwards.

Before the speech he snubbed by the Golden Globes, Critics Choice Awards, and the SAG. Since then he has been nominated for all three of those plus the Emmy.

meanwhile the boys from the show have received no nominations, despite wonderful performances.

Proof again that those folks may be good with words written FOR then, but absolute idiots with words composed BY then.

Actors: dumb as politicians, but sometimes at least visually acceptable.

Rock on, oh dumb actor.

Now they’re giving awards for awards speeches. Sad thing is that it’s a pretty well made show, the only one I can stomach binge-watching with my nieces and nephews, all of whom think it’s the bomb.

I'd agree with that for the first season. 2nd season....not so much.

*sigh* Usually, the less I know about an actor’s life and his views, the more I like them in their roles. I guess I’ve mostly gotten used to entertainers being raving leftists, but I’d still rather just not know.

He's a friggin actor playing to his audience, libtards and other actors, who gives a damn what he has to say.

The only strange about that show was all the hype. First season of X Files was way better.

This is a shame - I just recently binge-watched the first season of Stranger Things. He (and the whole cast, in my opinion) turned in great performances. He played the small-town cop.

I looked up the actor, I read that he is filming to be the next HellBoy, a movie franchise that I enjoyed in the past. Sigh. I really wish that actors could keep their politics to themselves...
